The Secretary: The Man Who Manipulated Hitler, by Jochen von Lang
I’m not far enough into this to give any sort of opinion. Each book I’ve read about WW2 Germany seems to either sympathize with and promote the Nazis, or tell stories of the people killed by them. This book, so far, isn’t either.
Baltimore, or the Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Vampire, by Christopher Golden and Mike Mignola
I absolutely love Mike Mignola’s work. I devoured Hellboy, B.P.R.D, and Baltimore. This book is the start of the Baltimore series, and I’m so glad to have found it.
It reads bleak, dark, desperate, and reminds me of the tone of one of my favorite games, Disco Elysium, but with vampires.

I’m still listening to a lot of Gojira.
I’ve discovered a doom metal band, Khemmis. Their sound is huge, dark, and very melodic.
Their song, Flesh to Nothing, perfectly captures my current feelings on deconstruction.
