This game scratches all of my game itches. Low-bit, Metroidvania, roguelite, with RPG skilltrees.
I love games like this; they’re difficult, require the player to learn precise controls and master skills, gets progressively easier as you level (or as you get good), and rewards persistence and learning over entertainment and ease of gameplay.
