this has been building for a while now #

I’m not really sure where to start with this. The tension has been building for a few years now, and I’m sure there’s going to be a lot to unpack with several more posts over the coming months.

The first company I worked for after college was ideal. Smallish (less than 100 people), fairly simple management, very liberal and welcoming environment, and lots of room to move around the company. I went from a technical sales role, to tech support, to QA, to software development, to senior software developer, over the course of 9 years. I was happy there. I spent around a year working directly with the CEO (he in a software development role) and learned so much from him about how to lead well.
